Statements gOver a thousand years ago, the Japanese enjoyed an era of great cultural development, a time when elegant and highly spiritual works of literatures and arts were produced. It was during this period that the uniquely Japanese script " KANA" was development. I have been strongly attracted to this time in our history. The thoughts and values of those people who lived close to nature appeal to me at the deepest level. Today I want to express our dreams and wishes in a way that ties the old with the new. My "Sho-Art" calligraphy combines the delicate and beautiful lines of old Kana script with Kanji symbols.'h Seiyu |
